Baby's First Birthday with DIY Photo Wall

Baby had a very low key first birthday. On her actual birthday we hung out with grandma at the Huntington Library and Gardens. We've been there basically once a week since she was born. We had beautiful weather that day and Grandma took the day off. Otto was sick that morning so we had to take him in to the vet. We're rescheduling her birthday breakfast to next weekend so her dad can come along. Last weekend we had a small party for her. Very laid back. We got take out and Aunt Katie made two cakes. It's an Italian Tradition- one cake has 1 birthday candle on it and the other has 100. It's so the baby will get to her 100th birthday.
Her smash cake was "healthy" with cream cheese frosting and sprinkles ;)
It was a team effort to light 100 candles!
 1 and 100.
 With Grandma Rosa.
I put together a very quick photo wall. The glitter birthday banner is from meri meri.
The blue seamless backdrop is from Freestyle Photo. And yes, it is the same one we used for our wedding photo wall.
Balloons are from local party supply. It was quick and easy! And it's still up in my house lol.

Thanks to everyone who helped celebrate her first birthday!

  1. Awww! What a little darling. She's coy and sweet and knows she's loved 'cause it shows. That grin! Those cheeks, and her eyes, those rosy lips . . . What a baby. Happy birthday, little one!

    She has great style. :D

Why 100 candles? Y'all sure know how to make a girl feel great about having been born. :)

    1. Thank you! The 100 candles is so the baby will get to her 100th birthday :)
